Granted Patent: I invented new technology.

3 years of onerous research work resulted in the formation of the first-ever 3-D Printed fluid filter, a technology patented by Indian standards.

When we started with the literature survey, a patent or a research publication was not even in our minds. We wanted to learn, thus joined the laboratory. But as the project progressed, it became only clear that it could be something huge. BUT, the bigger the results looked, the more effort it demanded.

We stayed up late nights. even when we had test/assignments due the next morning, we skipped parties and movies premiers, and all the more, we even went out to engineer a device (bearing all the expenses) that would help us test the findings of our main product.

*Introspective thoughts: Some sacrifices are worth it, and it always pays to go the extra mile.

Those really were crazy days. I worked more, and I slept tired. Waking up early, sleeping late and grinding out every second. Others were usually surprised at how much I (along with my group) worked. But we loved it. And we had the kind of madness required to achieve the things we finally did achieve in the end.
