A thought: Making a difference.

Changing the world | Solving the matrix problem

So, I always wanted to change the world. I think this thought stemmed from watching my favourite cartoon superheroes saving the world from evil, and making a difference. But they did that by breaking the very laws of physics that I would go on to study, which govern the world that we live in.

They were my superheroes. My idols. And I wanted to be like them.

I feel the world is in need of people with technical problem-solving aptitude, now more than ever. No matter how many diplomats solve disputes inside and across borders, there are still more important issues at stake.

It only takes one opportunity to create something worthwhile, and solving the world-matrix problem still remains a dream. I hope I can do it. The good news is: there is a man who shares my birthday, who is building electric cars and launching rockets in space. I hope I can do something of a similar impact.
